Informative nature of CCR’s website

The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only and not for commercial purposes. We intend the contents of this website to be correct and up-to-date, but we cannot guarantee that they effectively are. This website is not intended to be a source of advertising, solicitation or legal advice. Thus the User should not consider the information contained in this website to be an invitation for a lawyer-client relationship, should not base any decisions to act or not to act on information provided in this website and should always seek legal advice of a lawyer.

CCR hereby excludes responsibility for any loss which may eventually arise from reliance on information contained in this website.

This website contains links to third-party websites over which CCR has no control. CCR cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or any other aspect relating to the information contained in said third-party websites.

Internet privacy policy

The data controller is CCR Legal.

Data Collection

We only collect personal identification information which is specifically and voluntarily supplied by the CCR website visitors. CCR obtains limited identification information, such as name, job title, company address, email address and fax and telephone numbers of the website visitors.

In general, the identification information is collected for the purpose of:

  • Requesting additional information
  • Distributing requested reference materials
  • Submitting résumés
  • Enrolment in courses and seminars

We do not usually seek demographic information, including gender and job details. However this information may be provided when a visitor responds to an online job application. It is CCR’s policy to collect only minimum personal information required to respond to visitor’s requests. Where non-mandatory information is sought, the website visitor will be notified of this at the point of data collection.

The visitors may also send emails via the website. Each message shall contain the user name and email address, as well as any additional information the user considers important to include in the message. Since our website is a recruitment tool, a visit to our website may also result in the submission of a user’s résumé to a CCR recipient.

Except where foreseen by law, the transmission of personal data revealing philosophical or political beliefs, political party or trade union membership, religious belief, private life and racial or ethnic origin, and the processing of data concerning health and sex life, including genetic data is not permitted. The information obtained via website will be used exclusively for the purposes foreseen in the moment said information is collected. CCR develops its best efforts to avoid excessive or irrelevant data collection.

We encourage visitors to review all site privacy policies before providing any personally identifiable information.

Data storage

Some of the information we receive is not stored. For example, as a rule, we do not store email addresses we receive for purposes of sending newsletters. The visitors’ contact details shall be kept for as long as they are necessary to respond to requests or until a user requests removal of this information. Information related with mailing lists, comment boxes and emails is only stored for a reasonable period of time in order to facilitate visitors’ requests. The résumés will only be deleted when they are no longer under consideration or when they are considered outdated by our Human Resources department.

It is our policy not to request visitors to register in order to access CCR’s website area. However, in some cases, in future, we may have to request the registration of visitors in order to obtain a users id and a password, for purposes of authentication and secure access to a transaction, to a certain confidential business or to information services.

The personal identification information provided to CCR through the respective website is voluntarily supplied by the visitors. In case you wish to unsubscribe from email lists or any records, you can find the instructions in the appropriate area of the website or in communications to our visitors.

Access

All visitors have the right to change the personal data they have submitted through the CCR’s websites.

The updating of users’ information must be made by skipping backward in the registration process. Any questions about the accuracy of the identification information previously submitted to CCR through its website or all requests for removal of outdated information must be addressed to PT_geral@ccrlegal.pt. CCR is committed to providing adequate access to visitors to allow them the opportunity to identify and correct any inaccuracies. When so requested, CCR will delete the identifying information from the current systems.

Whenever CCR stores identification information, CCR’s assumes the responsibility of maintaining a strict record of such information, once submitted by the visitor and after the visitor has verified the data. However, CCR shall not be responsible for checking the continuous accuracy of the contents of the personal information. Whenever possible, if CCR becomes aware that certain information collected through the website is no longer accurate, CCR will introduce the appropriate corrections based on the update provided by the authenticated visitor.

Security

CCR has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.

All employees of CCR follow a network security policy. Only authorized employees of CCR have access to personal data, which are also linked to the duties of secrecy and confidentiality.

Underage Users

CCR websites are not intended for use by underage users. It is neither the policy nor the intent of CCR to collect and process intentionally the personal data provided by underage users.

CCR reserves the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time, so it is advisable to check it on a regular basis.
